ConfigServer Outgoing Spam Monitor (OSM) uses multiple methods to monitor outgoing email and SMTP connections for activity that could indicate a spammer is active on a server.
OSM is for any cPanel or DirectAdmin server owner concerned about spam being sent through their server, now or in future. It tracks outgoing email and SMTP connections by every available method, and is used entirely from the cPanel/DirectAdmin interface, where you configure it and view the reports from a daemon that runs continuously on the server.
Provides an easy-to-use interface within the root or admin control panel.
Licensed per server, with no limit on users or accounts.
Matching subject headers of outgoing email sent via Exim are tracked per cPanel/DirectAdmin account.
Shared hosting servers run many web scripts that are poorly maintained or badly written, so the chance of a hacker exploiting them is higher than ever. Compromised end-user PCs and devices that relay email through a server have always been a spam source too. Add spammers who buy hosting accounts just to send spam, and keeping spam off your servers takes constant vigilance.
Monitors outgoing email and SMTP connections per account, per script and per IP address.
Configure OSM and read its reports from inside cPanel or DirectAdmin.
