What is VPS reseller hosting?
You buy a pool of cores, RAM, storage and bandwidth, and divide it into virtual private servers that you sell to your own customers. You run the business; we run the servers underneath.
How is it different from buying VPS servers one by one?
You get one pool to divide however you like, a white-label control panel for your customers and WHMCS automation, so your customers never see Tremhost. On the smallest plan the hardware costs the same: VPS Reseller 1 is $45 for 3 VMs with 6 cores, 6 GB RAM and 60 GB, and three KVM 1 servers are also $45, with 120 GB. The larger pools give you more RAM per dollar than separate servers. The calculator below compares both.
Can I sell VPS hosting under my own brand?
Yes. VPS reselling is white label: your customers deal with your brand, your prices and your support, while Tremhost runs the infrastructure in the background.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. Price to cover the plan, payment fees and the support you give. Our own KVM VPS sells from $15 to $300 a month, so customers who only want a server can compare. Resellers who add their own support or management can charge more.
Which operating systems can my customers use?
Linux and Windows. You choose the operating system for each VPS. Windows needs a licence, which is charged separately.
Where are the servers?
In our five data centres: Johannesburg (South Africa), New York and Miami (USA), Limburg (Germany) and Roubaix (France). For customers in Southern Africa, Johannesburg is the closest.
Can my customers' orders be set up automatically?
Yes. With our WHMCS module, an order in your own WHMCS creates and sets up the VM, and your customer manages it in your white-label control panel.
Are backups and DDoS protection included?
Yes, on every pool.
How much can I earn?
There is no guaranteed income. It depends on how many VMs you sell, what you charge and how full you keep your pool, minus payment fees, support and marketing. Use the calculator to test your own numbers.
What uptime do you commit to?
99.9% a month for VPS hosting, with service credits if we miss it. See the service level agreement.
How do I pay?
